Northern Exposures

This is a collection of unconventional images captured in Alaska's Inner Passage and Tongass National Forest. The vibration and sway of the small boats we used to get up close to shores, icebergs, and sea walls meant that traditional landscape photography techniques—that is, slow shutter speeds and wide depth of field— became nearly impossible.
